The place is really nice. The Interior itself speaks a lot regarding the cultural aspect of the place. Food is a bit on the saltier side which my parents didn’t like. Tapsilog- 3/5 the garlic rice is salty which made my parents’ food not enjoyable as the tapa is already salty. Pad thai- 4/5 rice noodles is kinda soggy but taste wise. It’s fine. the tamarind sauce is not that heavy. Spring Rolls 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐definitely a MUST TRY! Please try this when you visit the place. Iced Jasmine tea- literally a jasmine tea in ice and cost 150 but it taste nice when I asked for a sugar syrup Overall the ambiance is nice and will definitely come back to try their other dishes EDIT: CAME BACK LAST MONTH We ate our usuals like Pad Thai and their Fried Spring Rolls but you definitely must try their PHO. the beef is tender and the soup is flavorful. they will give you condiments to adjust the soup in your taste but this is definitely a must try especially during rainy season

Situated within a private subdivision, Haboean is a studio, gallery, café, and a community center all rolled into one. The place is known for its piña weaves, but is also home to specialty coffees and Viét food. However, they also serve non-coffee drinks as well as a few Western food options. Haboean's Viét food options were not stingy with the vegetables — they are jam-packed with a variety of greens. Portions were also worth every penny. On the other hand, their drinks were mostly good (albeit pricey). The Orange Espresso Fizz was a bit of a letdown, as it was overwhelmingly bitter, and was a bit of a chore to drink. Apart from being a café, Haboean is also a gallery — featuring various handicrafts and artworks. The gallery's interiors were mesmerizing, and there was a lot of creativity in its space planning. On the second floor, you can watch on as several people weave tapestries, which are available for purchase. Overall, our visit to Haboean was a fun and memorable one. It's a must-visit for those planning to visit Kalibo, and a definite top spot for a local café.

This cafe + museum is located at the calmer side of Kalibo. It's definitely a hidden gem that you should try visiting. The cafe has a lot of options to choose from - Vietnamese food, pastries, hot & cold coffee, and breakfast meals. They have a gorgeous front garden with a mini pond full of koi fish. The museum exhibits the intricate process of piña weaving. They have their master weavers inside the area to educate you more about it. You can also buy piña cloth and some souvenirs.

The ambiance wraps around you like a soft breeze, peaceful and serene, offering a moment of escape from the world. I will undoubtedly return. My heartfelt thanks to the kind and ever-smiling staff who filled this experience with joy and warmth.

It's a hidden gem here in Kalibo. The place highlights nature, the art of weaving, local art pieces, and surprisingly, Vietnamese and Thailand food options. The food was overall good The pad thai was just the right amount of heat and peanut taste. I wish it could've included more peanut sauce. For children, they can enjoy a plate of Italian-style spaghetti (more tangy than sweet). We also enjoyed their spring rolls and banh mi. It tasted fresh. Overall, a must visit place when you're in Kalibo.

A dining experience with photo sessions. The food here is superb. The pad thai is so good. Everyone enjoyed that. We just wish there was a drink on the menu that is good for the whole family. Every serving is per glass and it was quite pricy. Brother-in-law said our lemonade is like lemon water and needs more sugar syrup which is kinda true. The ambiance was amazing though. We had a great time taking these photos and exploring. Too bad it was raining. We weren't able to take photos in the Japanese garden. Planning to come back for the coffee.

Haboean Weaving Studio and Cafe, nestled in Old Buswang, Kalibo, is a hidden gem. Although it's located within a private subdivision, the guard house ensures a safe and peaceful environment. The studio exudes a serene Japanese ambiance, complete with lush plants, a koi pond, and exquisite interior design. The woodwork and art pieces are stunning, and the upstairs museum showcases traditional weaving. Visitors can even try their hand at weaving! While access to certain private areas is restricted, the veranda outside offers a charming glimpse into traditional design. The ground floor cafe serves a variety of delicious Vietnamese dishes and beverages. The facilities are spotless, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. A truly amazing experience!
